What is the National System of Competence in Mexico?
The National System of Competencies (El Sistema Nacional de Competencias), promoted by CONOCER*, is a Federal Government instrument that contributes to economic competitiveness, educational development and social progress of Mexico.
To successfully meet the challenges of increasingly globalized markets, Mexican government encourages real estate professionals to get this certification in order to be compliant with the Mexican current real estate laws.
Certification requirements
The certification test is a very rigorous exam that is given once per year for the entire country and consists of an assigned project, a written exam and a 3 hour oral exam of which you can only miss 3 points out of 103. No other certification requires as much knowledge of the International market, the local laws and customs or the legal details of real estate transactions as they pertain to foreign buyers.
This is easily the most coveted, the most difficult and the most highly recognized certification by real estate professionals in the country of Mexico. We hold ourselves to the highest standards and we are extremely proud of this achievement.
